About Me

With 15 years experience in traditional lending and 17 years working with Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECMs) Scott has a strong background in mortgage financing. He specializes in working with Boomers and their advisors in understanding how housing and home equity are different in retirement. He meets with people in their homes or advisor’s office to explore home equity and whether a HECM would be a good fit.

Scott is know for his relaxed, low-key approach and a depth of knowledge about the challenges facing Boomers during retirement. Being able to utilize all their assets helps many adults enjoy a longer, fuller retirement. Having a greater control of their finances can also mean more security and confidence in what was supposed to be “the golden years”.

Of course, remaining in one’s current residence is not always practical or desirable. For many, the option to use the HECM for Purchase program can make the move to a more aging appropriate setting easier and more affordable. Again, Scott’s experience here is important in assisting Boomers and their advisors of all the personal housing options available to Boomers.
