Georgia native and a graduate of Georgia Southern University (BBA Business Management, 1977). Our family moved to Hilton Head in 1970, where I lived until 1978 when I began my professional career. I spent the next 30 years in Information Technology; representing global brands such as StorageTec, EMC, Memorex, and Exodus Communications. In 1995, two friends and I co-founded Marketing Solutions, Inc. in Birmingham, AL.

MSI designed and built CONNECTIONS; and innovative, cloud-based Customer Relationship Management system offered exclusively to community banks and credit unions. For 10 years, we worked to grow the client base to over 350 financial institutions. In 2005, we sold the company to Fiserv, a global provider of financial services technology (Nasdaq FISV). My wife and I came home to the SC Low country where I’m active again in the Church of the Cross, live music performance as a singer/songwriter, and as a HECM Advisor for Mutual Mortgage.
