Meet Peter Tourigny
Reverse Mortgage Advisor | Manhattan Beach, California
For more than 30 years, Peter Tourigny has helped clients with the refinancing and purchasing of their homes in 44 states throughout the country. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he now resides in Manhattan Beach, California, with his wife, Skylar, daughter Elleni, and son Evan.
Peter graduated from Cape Cod Community College and Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990. After graduating, Peter was introduced to the mortgage business by his father, Robert Tourigny, who is also a Reverse Mortgage Advisor in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts.
Peter’s specialty is his ability to work closely with clients to educate them about the government-insured Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM), also known as a reverse mortgage, a financial tool available to eligible older homeowners. Through this process, Peter helps his clients understand the program and make an informed decision about whether it is right for them.
Peter focuses his energy on his profession, his family, and his health.
He enjoys playing beach volleyball in Southern California, where he has made several appearances on the AVP professional beach volleyball tour. In July 2009, at the age of 41, Peter was the oldest player in the main draw of the prestigious Manhattan Beach Open, considered the “Wimbledon” of beach volleyball. He believes this active lifestyle keeps him energized and ready to enjoy all that his family and career offer him.
