For over 30 years, Peter has been helping his clients with the refinancing and purchasing of their homes in 44 states throughout the country. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, he now resides in Manhattan Beach, California with his wife Skylar, daughter Elleni and son Evan. Graduated from Cape Cod Community College and Bridgewater State College with a Bachelors degree in 1990 which is when Peter was brought into the mortgage business by his father, Robert Tourigny who is also a Reverse Mortgage Advisor in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts. Peter’s “specialty” is his ability to work closely with his clients to properly educate them about the government insured reverse mortgage (HECM) for senior homeowners. Through this process, Peter’s clients are able to completely understand the program and make an informed decision as to whether it is right for them or not.
Peter focuses his energy on his profession, his family and his health. He enjoys playing beach volleyball in southern California where he has made several appearances on the AVP pro beach volleyball tour http://www.bvbinfo.com/Player.asp?ID=1160 . In July 2009, Peter (41 yrs old at that time) was the oldest player in the main draw of the prestigious Manhattan Open, considered the “Wimbledon” of beach volleyball.
