Professional Experience
Hello, I am Ron Heath. I have over 17 years of experience working in the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) industry. I have helped hundreds of homeowners obtain greater financial freedom during retirement by using home equity. In recent years, I have become a Lifestyle Home Loan (HECM for Purchase) specialist assisting customers in buying their retirement dream home. I started my mortgage career with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in April 2007 and have since held various roles in the industry.
HECM (Reverse Mortgage)
I joined Mutual of Omaha Mortgage to help seniors “right size” and purchase the best retirement home, as they are the industry leader in the HECM for Purchase Program. A HECM, also known as a reverse mortgage, is a government-insured mortgage program that allows seniors to make a one-time down payment without the burden of monthly mortgage payments.
I have my licenses in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. What I find most rewarding about my job is helping people achieve financial peace of mind in retirement. I always aim to provide each customer with knowledge, honesty, and integrity.
About Me
I am happily married to my best friend, Becky, for over 40 years. We love traveling to tropical destinations and coastal communities. My favorite hobbies include golf, snorkeling, and reading a good book on vacation. I am actively involved in my community, having served in various roles such as Treasurer for a non-profit caregiver support center and HOA board Treasurer in a 55+ community.
