Kelly DeWolf is a seasoned Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer with Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, serving the great states of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. With more than 30 years in the mortgage industry and more than 14 years dedicated to the reverse mortgage sector, Kelly brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and respect for his adult clients.

Kelly’s philosophy is rooted in the values of the greatest generation — hard work and respect for things that matter most. He has a unique rapport with his clients and a deep desire to assist them with their retirement needs. His favorite part of his profession is ensuring his clients fully understand all their options, enabling them to make informed decisions that can enhance their lives.

Career Highlights

Kelly’s career in the mortgage industry spans over four decades, with more than 14 years dedicated to reverse mortgages. He was the manager of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in San Francisco, California before moving back home to Montana. In Montana, Kelly accepted the role as Reverse Mortgage Consultant and by 2009, his achievements earned him a position in the top 10 percent in the Nation with Wells Fargo in Reverse Mortgage Closings.

He then accepted a position with MetLife Home Mortgage as an Area Manager, spending many hours in New York City with top MetLife Management developing the product to new levels. Kelly’s input helped bring major positive changes to the product and how its use could be expanded.

Kelly has been an approved Certified instructor to teach Realtors in the State of Montana on how the HECM Reverse Mortgage works and how to apply it in their business. He was named to the President’s Club for Wells Fargo in 2008, 2009 and 2010 and with Reverse Mortgage Funding in 2017, 2018, 2019 and again in 2021 for being in the top 5 percent in the nation.

Kelly joined the team at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage in late 2022.

Personal Life

A fifth-generation Montanan, Kelly comes from a military family with his father serving in World War II. He cares deeply about Montana and our Country. Kelly makes his home in Clancy, Montana where he enjoys golfing, skiing, photography, and spending time with his dogs.

Kelly is actively involved in the community, helping in the Montana Military Museum, and being a member of the Montana Historical Society, Sons and Daughters of Montana Pioneers, and Veterans Disability group.
