Hello! I’m Linda Weihofen, your dedicated California Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer at Mutual of Omaha Mortgage. With nearly 22 years of experience in the industry, I am passionate about empowering seniors to live comfortably and securely through thoughtful financial solutions.

My Background

Before stepping into the world of reverse mortgages, I had a fulfilling career as a Series 7 Licensed Financial Planner. My tenure at prestigious firms like Merrill Lynch and Solomon Smith Barney, particularly in the Compliance Department, equipped me with a robust financial acumen that I now bring to every client interaction.

After transitioning to the mortgage industry, I started as forward mortgage loan officer before focusing on Reverse Mortgages. This experience allows me to deliver tailored programs that best meet the unique needs of my clients.

Community Involvement

Living in a vibrant retirement community, I actively contribute to improving the lives of all residents. For example, I served on the Board of Meals on Wheels for seven years and recently joined the Rotary Club, where we assist seniors with home repairs and engage in community clean-up projects.

Personal Life and Interests

I am deeply involved in my community, both recreationally and socially. I play pickleball, swim daily during the summer months, and enjoy walking around our local lake when the weather allows. Bicycling, dancing at local music venues, and participating in rock and roll bands are other ways I keep active and connected. I’m also an avid gardener and have a passion for home decorating.

Furthermore, I am a proud member of the local Business Networking International (BNI) chapter and the Chamber of Commerce, which keeps me integrated with the business community and up-to-date on local affairs.
