Launi Cooper has had an extensive career in the Real Estate Industry, beginning back in the 1970’s as a young student working for her Mom in her Real Estate Business. In 1986, she received the Eugene L. Williams scholarship award from the Sacramento Board of Realtors, allowing her to finish her BS in Business, with a concentration in Real Estate & Land Use Affairs at CSU Sacramento. During school she worked in the lending industry specializing in Gov’t insured loans. After graduation, she accepted a position as an appraiser trainee, later going on to own her own Appraisal company with a partner.
In 1995, she joined Del Webb at Sun City Roseville as a loan officer. The next year she moved into Sales, beginning a 13 year sales and sales management career which earned her multiple MAME volume awards and the 2008 Sales Manager of the Year for the North State Building Industry Association.
In 2009, after she saw what a Reverse Mortgage did for her parent’s life, she left the new home industry and began her current passion of assisting the Active Adult with the funding of their longevity and lifestyle. And, in September 2013, she was named “Mortgage Lender of the Year” by the North State BIA. Launi is currently the Foundation Director for the Rotary Club of Roseville, Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Financial Planning Association of Northern CA, and an active member of the Placer County Association of Realtors, the Granite Bay Roseville Business Network, the Charitable Giving Committee for the Placer SPCA and past president of the South Placer Estate Planning Council. She and her husband of 31 years, Michael, have made South Placer their home since 1990. They have 2 grown sons, one in law enforcement and the other, Mitchell Cooper, who also works as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist with Launi.
