About Me

Since 2011 I’ve devoted myself to mastering origination of the Home Equity Conversion Mortgage; often called the “reverse mortgage”. Though I am licensed nationally and specifically in CO and CA for all loan types, I really love and choose to serve senior homeowners who are just like me.

We’ve worked hard for a measure of success which includes equity in our homes. We want to diligently manage the resources we’ve earned over many years and create a retirement marked by joy and security.

It seems my whole life has been custom crafted to help me excel in the reverse space. Even my very first job as a “paperboy” for the San Antonio Light at age 11 taught me entrepreneurial skills and diligence needed to reach and serve seniors. Ten years as a successful Realtor in Sacramento before I became a loan officer taught me home values, appraisal skills, client service and the importance of equity management. For twenty years before that I traveled the country “selling drugs”; I worked in big pharma sales and management within the oral pharmaceutical space and specializing later in diabetes management for Fortune 50 companies. I’ve had a great life and career that has culminated in success and gratefulness serving fellow seniors.

I’m happily married since 1986 to a brilliant technician, ham radio hobbyist and audiophile, Rick. We own a spoiled rotten inside only cat named Barney that we found in a barn. We live out on five acres in Eastern CO about 15 miles from the airport which allows me to comfortably visit just about anyone in the expanded Metro Denver area to provide the kind of in person service that my clients appreciate. YES! I have a HECM myself! (Home Equity Conversion Mortgage) It is a brilliant way to incorporate our growing Colorado equity into an overall retirement plan. Let’s see if the HECM makes sense for you!
